There is a large supermarket (Capabro) on the arterial road to the south, where almost all daily necessities can be obtained.

Important:
A Capabro membership card (can be found in Casa Baaij on the wooden table in the living room) can be used to purchase many discounted offers. So it is worth taking these with you.

The Capabro has a delivery service. Good selection of reasonably priced local wines.
Lidl
There is also a Lidl on the arterial road to the south (before the Capabro), where you can get almost all daily necessities.

On weekends, there is a large market north-west of the centre. The best place to start this worthwhile visit is at the intersection of Av. Constitucio / Carrer Isidre.
The fresh olive stalls are particularly recommended here. At the top end, there is often a vendor with fresh grilled chicken. There are also stalls with fresh churros, a very tasty, typically Spanish fat pastry. There are local cheeses, dried and salted fish products and fresh oils on offer. Otherwise, the market is overflowing with very cheap clothes, toys, shoes and household and kitchen items. Illegal CDs/DVDs and jewellery are also regularly offered for sale by “flying” traders.
